Key responsibilities
Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities within the North-East Region to expand Company's client portfolio.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs and requirements.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements whilst maintaining profitability targets.
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs established by senior management.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the supply chain industry.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions and pipeline progress using CRM systems.
Collaborate with internal teams including operations, logistics and customer service to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
Attend industry events, trade shows and networking functions to promote Company's services and build brand awareness.
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, highlighting progress against targets and pipeline developments.
Requirements:
Proven track record of 2-4 years in a sales role, ideally within supply chain, logistics, or related B2B environment.
Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics services, or proven ability to quickly learn industry-specific concepts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and present solutions that add genuine value.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and take initiative whilst being a collaborative team player.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple clients and opportunities.
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the Changi, East Region as required.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field is advantageous.
