Presales & Solutions Specialist – Cloud, Data Center & AI Infrastructure

Job Overview

We are looking for a Presales & Solutions Specialist to support the development and delivery of Cloud, Data Center (IDC), AI Infrastructure, Network, and enterprise ICT solutions.

The role collaborates closely with the Presales and Product teams, participating in customer requirement analysis, solution preparation, technical research, partner coordination, quotation activities, project follow-up, and regional resource management across Singapore and the ASEAN region. We welcome candidates with a solid foundation in ICT technologies, strong execution skills, and an interest in deepening their expertise across Cloud, Data Center, and AI infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Presales & Solution Support

• Support customer requirement gathering and preliminary technical analysis.

• Assist in preparing technical proposals, solution documents, presentations, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and quotation materials.

• Conduct product, technology, and solution research based on customer and project specifications.

• Support RFI, RFP, and tender activities, including collecting and consolidating technical information.

• Coordinate with internal technical teams and external vendors on technical requirements and clarifications.

• Maintain and update standard solutions, product materials, technical documentation, and templates.

2. Cloud, Data Center & AI Infrastructure

• Support business opportunities involving public cloud, hybrid cloud, data centers, enterprise networking, and AI infrastructure.

• Consolidate technical specifications covering compute, storage, networking, rack capacity, power, cooling, GPU resources, and connectivity.

• Assist with cloud and data center resource comparison, technical evaluations, and solution selection.

• Conduct research on GPU computing, high-density infrastructure, liquid cooling, InfiniBand, RoCE, and other emerging AI infrastructure technologies.

• Maintain relevant product, solution, and infrastructure resource databases.

3. Regional Resource & Partner Management

• Support the collection and maintenance of IDC, cloud, AI computing, and network resources across Singapore and ASEAN markets.

• Coordinate with data center operators, cloud providers, carriers, equipment vendors, and technology partners.

• Maintain structured records of partner capabilities, infrastructure capacity, and service offerings.

• Follow up on quotations, technical clarifications, resource availability, and delivery timelines.

• Assist in evaluating and benchmarking regional infrastructure partners.

4. Project & Commercial Support

• Track project opportunities, quotation revisions, technical clarifications, and action items.

• Coordinate workflows across Sales, Presales, Product, Operations, and external partners.

• Support vendor enquiries, quotation comparisons, and basic commercial analysis.

• Assist with project documentation and delivery handover materials.

• Maintain accurate, structured project records.

5. Product & Market Research

• Research new technologies, products, and vendors across Cloud, Data Center, AI Infrastructure, Networking, and Cybersecurity.

• Assist in evaluating potential technology partners and product integrations.

• Support the preparation of internal enablement materials, solution matrices, and market research.

• Monitor industry developments, regulatory shifts, and emerging technology trends.

6. Internal Operations & Digitalization

• Support the maintenance of internal resource databases, project tracking tools, and operational platforms.

• Assist in standardizing and improving Presales and Product workflows.

• Participate in internal digitalization and workflow automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

• Relevant experience in Presales, Cloud, Data Center, Networking, System Integration, or IT Infrastructure (typically 2+ years of relevant industry experience).

• Good foundational understanding of cloud computing, networking, and enterprise IT infrastructure.

• Keen interest in expanding technical knowledge in Data Center and AI infrastructure technologies.

• Ability to interpret technical documentation and synthesize complex technical requirements clearly.

• Strong communication, coordination, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

• Proficiency in English. Proficiency in Chinese/Mandarin is advantageous to liaise with Mandarin-speaking regional clients, partners, and vendors.

Preferred ExperienceExperience or familiarity with any of the following areas will be advantageous:

• Public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Alibaba Cloud, Microsoft Azure).

• Data Center colocation and facility specifications.

• Enterprise Networking, SD-WAN, Dedicated Connectivity, or Cloud Connect.

• Server, storage, and GPU cluster infrastructure.

• AI computing, high-performance computing (HPC), or liquid-cooled infrastructure.

• Cybersecurity solutions and compliance frameworks.

• ICT System Integration, RFI/RFP response preparation, and tender management.
