Technical Project Manager – Autonomous Vehicles / Robotics

Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to support the delivery of Autonomous Vehicle (AV), robotics, and airport technology initiatives. The role serves as the bridge between airport business functions and technical teams, translating operational requirements into secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions.
You will support AV trials and production deployments, while coordinating stakeholders across airport operations, infrastructure, telecommunications, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate technology projects involving Autonomous Vehicles (AV), robotics, and enterprise IT systems across development and production environments.
- Engage internal and external airport stakeholders to gather business requirements, understand operational workflows, and translate them into technical requirements.
- Coordinate the design, implementation, testing, integration, and deployment of AV platforms and supporting technology solutions.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system integration testing, and performance validation to ensure solutions meet functional, reliability, and operational requirements.
- Work closely with infrastructure and telecommunications teams to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across cloud, network, and on-premises environments.
- Ensure solutions comply with cybersecurity, IT architecture, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the design of high-availability and resilient systems, including failover and secure communications.
- Keep up with developments across AI, robotics, autonomous vehicles, cloud, networking, and telecommunications, and identify opportunities to improve system architecture and operational processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Robotics or AV
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, Engineering (Robotics, Mechanical or Electrical), or a related discipline preferred.
- Good understanding of 4G/5G connectivity, cloud platforms, cloud networking, security architecture, API integration, and messaging protocols.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and high-availability architecture, including resilience, failover, and secure communications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
Good to Have
- Previous internship, academic project, or professional exposure to Autonomous Vehicles (AV) or robotics systems.
- Strong interest and knowledge in AI, robotics, autonomous technologies, and emerging technology solutions.
