Duties & Responsibilities
The Development Manager is responsible for driving business transformation, digitalisation, automation, and technology-enabled initiatives across Certis Land Security. The role bridges operational requirements with technology solutions, leveraging software development, data analytics, AI, automation, and systems integration to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, manpower productivity, and customer value.
- Lead technology and digital transformation projects from concept to implementation.
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement.
- Design, develop, and implement technology solutions to improve productivity and service effectiveness.
- Collaborate with operations, business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver innovative solutions.
- Develop dashboards, analytics, and reporting tools to support data-driven decision making.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, automation, IoT, and digital platforms.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- Drive user adoption, training, and change management initiatives.
- Ensure solutions comply with cybersecurity, data protection, and governance requirements.
- Perform administrative duties, coordinate meetings, write minutes, and handle any other assigned tasks.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, systems implementation, digital transformation, or technology project management.
- Strong programming knowledge in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or equivalent.
- Experience with databases, system integrations, APIs, and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with AI implementation, Power BI, Power Platform, cloud technologies, or automation platforms will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Experience managing projects in a fast-paced operational environment is preferred.
