Core Responsibilities

- Connect shipowners with charterers to secure cargo space and vessel fixtures.

- Drive and finalize commercial terms for voyage charters, time charters, and COAs.

- Monitor shipping supply/demand, fuel costs, and global trends to advise clients.

- Maintain daily contact with oil majors, traders, chemical producers, and owners.

- Draft, review, and execute fixture recaps and charter party documentation.

- Work with post-fixture teams to ensure smooth voyages and resolve disputes.

Key Requirements

- Degree in Maritime, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience); ICS membership is a plus.

- 2 to 5 years in shipbroking or tanker cargoes/specialized commodity trading.

- Familiar with tanker vessel types, cargo compatibility, and port restrictions.

- Strong voyage calculation abilities and sharp commercial negotiation skills.

- Proactive, adaptable, and an excellent communicator with international stakeholders.
