Senior Performance Test Engineer - Contract

About the Client:
This role is with our reputed MNC.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing strategies.
• Define performance test plans, scenarios, workloads, and success criteria based on business requirements.
• Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks across applications, databases, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance using industry-standard APM and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, DevOps, and business teams to resolve performance issues.
• Prepare performance test reports, metrics, and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Support performance validation for SIT, UAT, production releases, and cloud migrations.
• Drive performance tuning and optimization initiatives across enterprise applications.

Skills/Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 6+years of experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, Neo Load
• Experience in API, Web, Mobile, and Microservices performance testing.
• Strong understanding of performance metrics including response time, throughput, latency, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Kibana.
• Good knowledge of SQL, database performance tuning, and application architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Banking and Financial Services industry experience is preferred.
