Trainee Lighting Designer

Responsibilities:
• Assist the Senior Designer in developing lighting concepts, proposals, layouts and design documentation for assigned projects.
• Support the preparation of drawings, mood boards, presentations and other design materials.
• Update and revise design proposals based on feedback from senior designer and clients.
• Research suitable lighting products, fixtures and solutions according to project requirements.
• Assist with product comparisons, specifications and sample coordination where required.
• Gain practical exposure to lighting design principles, installation considerations and relevant standards.

Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Lighting Design or a related discipline
• Genuine interest in lighting design with a willingness to learn
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar design software is an advantage
• Organized and detail-oriented with good documentation and file management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Positive attitude, proactive approach and eagerness to develop a career in lighting design
• Singaporean only need apply
