SALES EXECUTIVE

Job Summary

We are seeking a customer-focused Retail Sales Consultant to assist walk-in and appointment-based customers in selecting fine jewellery and diamonds, build lasting client relationships, and help grow our retail presence in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom by understanding their preferences, occasions, and budget to recommend suitable jewellery
• Present and explain jewellery pieces, diamond quality (4Cs), and certification (IGI/GIA) to help customers make informed decisions
• Educate customers on the value and benefits of lab-grown versus natural diamonds to support their purchase choices
• Achieve individual and store sales targets by actively engaging customers and closing sales
• Process sales transactions, invoicing, and manage after-sales services including repairs, resizing, and exchanges accurately
• Maintain showroom presentation, display standards, and ensure inventory accuracy to provide a pleasant shopping environment
• Build and maintain a client database; follow up with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Handle customer inquiries via walk-in, phone, and WhatsApp promptly and professionally
• Stay updated on jewellery trends, new collections, and competitor offerings to provide relevant product knowledge
• Coordinate with the back office and factory team on custom orders and special requests to ensure customer satisfaction

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in jewellery, watches, or luxury goods
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage customers effectively
• Presentable, well-groomed, and customer-service oriented to represent the brand professionally
• Basic knowledge of diamonds and gemstones (training will be provided)
• Proficient in basic computer and POS systems
• Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
