Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Helper / Assistant Cook (Back-of-House)

Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice is a globally recognized Singapore’s iconic heritage brand, is opening its first premium shopping and lifestyle destination, with excellent connectivity via MRT and public bus services. We are hiring multiple team members to support the opening of our new flagship outlet. Successful candidates will be involved in food preparation, kitchen operations, cooking and chopping chickens.

Training will be provided, and candidates will be part of a structured and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and kitchen staffs with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure kitchen areas are cleaned and sanitized according to food safety standards.
• Stock and organize food supplies and ingredients n the kitchen.
• Assist in the proper storage of food and ingredients, ensuring compliance with food safety guidelines.
• Handle and dispose of kitchen waste responsibly.
• Help in basic cooking and food assembly as instructed by the chef.
• Support in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations during service.
• Ensure that kitchen tools and equipment are in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Min 2 years of previous experience in F&B roles
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with standing work and kitchen environment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours

• 6 days work week
• 10 to 11 hours/day shift- based schedule
