Flat Grinding Machine Operator

Job Summary

You will operate flat grinding machines to produce products according to drawings and process documents, meet production targets, conduct quality self-inspections, and maintain a clean and safe work environment following company standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate flat grinding machines to complete production tasks according to technical drawings, process documents, and equipment procedures to meet quality and volume targets
• Perform self-inspections on products during the grinding process to ensure quality standards are met and collaborate with inspectors during product inspections
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area by implementing the company’s 5S standards to support a safe and efficient workspace
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of grinding equipment to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime
• Follow work schedules and cooperate with team members to achieve production goals and accommodate overtime as required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possess over 3 years of experience operating planers, preferably in the organic processing industry
• Ability to read and understand mechanical processing drawings
• Demonstrate teamwork mindset and willingness to follow work arrangements
