Events Planner

Job Summary

Coordinate and manage event logistics and vendor relationships to deliver successful events that meet client objectives, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing costs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify event objectives, themes, and requirements
• Coordinate comprehensive event logistics including catering, entertainment, transportation, signage, audiovisual equipment, and related services
• Select, manage, and negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to secure cost-effective, high-quality services
• Conduct cost analysis and financial evaluations to optimize event budgets and achieve savings
• Partner with marketing teams to promote events via social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials
• Collect and analyze feedback from attendees and stakeholders to assess event success and recommend improvements
• Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to ensure smooth event execution
• Ensure all events comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including permits, licenses, and safety standards

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage complex event logistics
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and last-minute event adjustments
• Openness to entry-level candidates; training will be provided
