Junior Accountant (Shipping)

Our client is a well-established shipping and energy trading company. They are looking to hire a Junior Accountant to join their finance team.

Job Description

• Process payments, issue invoices and manage account settlements
• Support daily cash flow and cash management activities
• Assist with reconciling and closing accounts
• Provide administrative support for general office affairs and secretarial matters
• Take on ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned by senior management
• Input and maintain records in the IMOS and SAP systems
• Undertake additional duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship exposure are welcome
• Prior experience in a finance or accounts support role is a plus
• Working knowledge of SAP and/or IMOS would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Effective communicator with solid interpersonal skills
• Open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only
