PROJECT MANAGER (CONTRACT 12MTHS OPTION TO EXTEND)

About the Role

SCAL is the leading trade association for Singapore's construction industry. We are looking for a Project Manager to drive execution across design, procurement, financing, legal structuring and regulatory approval for a project.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who wants ownership of a live, high-visibility development project.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the master project schedule across design, tender, construction and Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP), and flag slippage early
• Coordinate and work closely with the Design & Build contractor to ensure timely delivery of project
• Work with the appointed Quantity Surveyor and Finance to keep the project financial model current and reconciled
• Coordinate CORENET X / BIM compliance planning with the architect and manage regulatory correspondence with BCA, MOM, SLA, NEA, LTA, PUB and EMA
• Prepare board- and committee-ready presentation and briefing materials for regular updates
• Act as the day-to-day point of contact for government agencies, consultants for the project

What We Are Looking For

• 5-8 years' experience in project or development coordination/management within construction, real estate development or infrastructure
• Prior exposure to Design & Build contracts
• Working knowledge of Singapore's built-environment regulatory landscape (BCA, URA, SLA, LTA, NEA, PUB); familiarity with CORENET submissions and FEDA-regulated dormitories an advantage
• Strong stakeholder management and documentation discipline, able to produce board-ready materials with minimal rework
• A proactive communicator who flags risk early rather than managing it quietly
