Key Account Manager (RAC)

About the role

We are seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager (RAC) to manage and grow strategic retail, dealer, distributor, and channel partners for air-conditioning products in Singapore. The role is responsible for developing strong relationships with key accounts, driving sales growth, expanding distribution channels, managing channel performance, and executing sales and market strategies to strengthen the company's presence in the Singapore air-conditioning market.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with key retail accounts, air-conditioning dealers, distributors, contractors, and channel partners.

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with key customers to ensure sustainable business growth and long-term customer satisfaction.

• Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue growth, market share, and other key business objectives.

• Develop and execute effective sell-in and sell-out strategies to improve channel performance and product penetration.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, dealers, and sales channels to expand market coverage.

• Plan and execute promotions, dealer programs, retail campaigns, and other sales activities with channel partners.

• Work closely with partners to ensure strong product visibility, display standards, and brand presence across retail and dealer channels.

• Monitor channel inventory, sales movement, and stock levels, and coordinate with the supply chain team for demand forecasting and stock planning.

• Analyse sell-out data, market trends, competitor activities, and pricing to optimize product mix, sales strategies, and promotional plans.

• Maintain strong understanding of Midea and Toshiba air-conditioning products, including product features, specifications, applications, and competitive advantages.

About you

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, Business Development, or Channel Management.

• Experience in the air-conditioning / HVAC industry is highly preferred.

• Experience handling aircon dealers, retailers, distributors, contractors, or channel partners will be an advantage.

• Good understanding of the Singapore air-conditioning market and distribution landscape.

• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and account management skills.

• Experience in sell-in/sell-out strategies, dealer promotions, channel development, and sales planning.

• Good analytical skills with the ability to review sales, inventory, pricing, and market data.

• Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify and develop new sales opportunities.
