Director of Nursing

We are looking for an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join a non-profit nursing home in Singapore. This is a replacement role, reporting directly to the CEO.

Sizable Nursing Home, currently caring for 400+ elderly residents across two blocks, supported by a care team of more than 200 staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the nursing and care teams.

• Ensure safe, high-quality and resident-centred care across the Home.

• Oversee nursing operations, manpower deployment and staff performance.

• Maintain compliance with MOH, AIC, HCSA and relevant regulatory requirements.

• Strengthen clinical governance, nursing standards, audits and quality improvement.

• Oversee infection prevention and control, incident management and clinical risk.

• Develop nursing capabilities through training, coaching and succession planning.

• Work closely with the CEO, management team, doctors, allied health professionals and other stakeholders.

• Support the Home’s strategic development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).

• Strong nursing leadership and people-management experience.

• Experience in a nursing home, community care, geriatric or healthcare setting is preferred.

• Good understanding of clinical governance, regulatory compliance and quality standards.

• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Compassionate, hands-on and comfortable leading a large care team.
