Internship Opportunity: Job Placement & Matching Intern

The Centre for Seniors (CFS) is looking for caring, proactive and people-oriented interns to support our job placement and matching services for jobseekers aged 50 and above.
As an intern, you will gain practical experience in candidate engagement, recruitment coordination and job matching while helping mature individuals find meaningful employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Call and engage mature jobseekers to understand their work experience, skills, interests and job preferences.
Introduce suitable employment opportunities and explain the job scope, requirements and working conditions.
Match candidates with appropriate employers and available positions.
Follow up with candidates on their interest, availability and application progress.
Assist with interview scheduling and placement coordination.
Maintain accurate candidate, employer and placement records.
Provide general administrative support to the Placement team.
Who We Are Looking For
Students pursuing studies in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Social Sciences, Community Development or related disciplines.
Friendly, patient and confident in communicating with people from different backgrounds.
Comfortable speaking with candidates over the telephone.
Organised, responsible and attentive to detail.
Able to use Microsoft Office applications and manage basic records.
Interested in recruitment, career services, community work or supporting mature workers.
Able to communicate in an additional local language or dialect would be an advantage.
