About this job
The Intern, Brand & Communications sits in the Brand, Communications and Sustainability team and will support the team in enhancing our brand and corporate communications efforts. This role offers hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, internal and external communications, and campaign execution. The intern will gain valuable exposure to corporate communications, public relations, and brand-building initiatives in a regional setting.
Responsibilities
Content creation & social media
- Assist in developing engaging content for social media platforms and websites
- Support the creation of visual assets such as graphics, videos, and infographics
- Monitor social media trends and contribute ideas for campaigns
Employee communications
- Assist in drafting internal communications such as company announcements, newsletter, and event invitations
- Help manage and update content on company intranet
Event & campaign support
- Support the planning and execution of company townhalls, webinars, and sponsorship activities
- Assist in coordinating with vendors and partners to ensure smooth event operations
- Provide logistical support, including catering arrangements and venue setup
- Maintain and update media contact lists to support media relations efforts
Research & performance tracking
- Conduct desktop research on industry trends, competitors, and communication best practices
- Track media coverage and compile reports on campaign performance
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills with attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content management tools
- Familiarity with design and video editing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus
- Experience with media monitoring tools such as Meltwater is an advantage
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in creating presentation materials
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable, fast learner, and team player with a proactive mindset
- Ability to manage stakeholders is a plus
