Job Summary

Lead and manage civil engineering projects by developing plans, coordinating stakeholders, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance, and maintaining quality standards to deliver projects on schedule and meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, resource allocations, and budgets to guide successful project execution
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define clear project objectives and ensure alignment
• Monitor project progress and performance, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Review and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility
• Ensure all project activities comply with regulatory standards, codes, and safety guidelines to maintain legal and safety requirements
• Conduct site inspections and quality-control checks to verify that construction work meets project specifications and standards
• Promote a collaborative work environment by facilitating communication and problem-solving among project teams
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates for stakeholders
• Respond promptly to client concerns and inquiries to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and trust

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management techniques
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders
