Credit Analyst
About this job
The Credit Analyst will be responsible for (i)advancing new transaction activity with existing and prospective TMT & datacenter (DC) clients, (ii) continuing portfolio maintenance (covenant reviews, CM’s, CR’s, LEAP maintenance, etc.) as appropriate and (iii) developing closer working relationships with key stakeholders in head office – particularly members of the TMT, Digital Infra, Project Finance, Credit and Risk Assurance, teams. Key duties include:
Reporting and Strategy Support
Provide regular updates on business development activities, market trends, and client feedback, supporting the bank’s broader regional and industry-specific business strategy.
Client Development
Cultivate deeper, global relationships with key TMT accounts. Promote better understanding of global limit allocations & constraints.
Market Expansion
Dedicate time to understand more of OCBC’s Global Markets capabilities – with particular focus on swaps / derivatives.
Cross-Border Solutions
Work closely with industry and product teams to advance client initiatives in areas where OCBC offers relevant solutions. Evaluate competing demands for capital across geographies with different market standards & pricing.
Client Servicing
Support both the US and SG based TMT teams with new transaction initiatives. Priority focus on matters involving new credit approvals & cross-sell. Develop and maintain quality understanding of amendments & similar credit matters.
Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including headquarters and regional offices, to align client strategies and service delivery.
Risk Management and Compliance
Ensure that all client activities and onboarding are conducted in strict compliance with local and international banking regulations and internal policies.
