The Warehouse & Admin Assistant supports the day-to-day warehouse and administrative operations within the Central Kitchen. This role involves manual picking, stock handling, inventory support, goods receiving, and basic administrative coordination to ensure smooth operational workflow and timely fulfilment of orders.
The incumbent is expected to maintain proper stock organization, support inventory accuracy, and assist with documentation and coordination duties in accordance with company procedures and food safety requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, checking, and unpacking incoming goods and deliveries.
- Perform manual picking, sorting, packing, and arrangement of raw materials and ingredients.
- Carry out de-cartoning, stock replenishment, and housekeeping of storage areas.
- Ensure goods received are in good condition and match the corresponding purchase orders and delivery orders.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the supervisor promptly.
- Support stock arrangement and proper storage according to operational and food safety requirements.
- Assist in preparing and printing orders for packing and delivery purposes.
- Support daily warehouse operations including stock movement and inventory organization.
- Assist with monthly stock take and inventory counting activities.
- Perform simple data entry, filing, invoice matching, and administrative support duties.
- Prepare and organize delivery orders and related documents.
- Liaise with internal departments on stock and operational requirements when required.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of warehouse and storage areas.
- Follow company procedures, workplace safety guidelines, and food hygiene standards.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum NITEC, Higher NITEC, Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
- Preferably 1 year of relevant working experience in warehouse, logistics, food manufacturing, production, or administrative support environment.
- Able to perform physical work and handle manual carrying of goods of up to 20-25kg.
- Comfortable working in a Central Kitchen or food manufacturing environment.
- Able to support handling and movement of food ingredients and materials.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with simple administrative tasks.
- Responsible, organized, and able to follow instructions effectively.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to learn and adapt to operational requirements.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
