About the role
This role involves preparing and managing manpower rosters to ensure adequate staffing levels across all operational sites, coordinating shift arrangements and manpower deployment to meet operational requirements. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy planning, coordination, problem-solving, and working with different stake holders.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, and manpower availability to ensure sufficient staffing levels are maintained.
- Liaise with employees on roster arrangements, shift assignments, and deployment-related enquiries.
- Prepare and maintain manpower rosters to support daily operational requirements across multiple locations.
- Work closely with the Operations and HR teams to coordinate manpower requirements and resolve scheduling issues.
- Review and respond to last-minute manpower changes by arranging suitable replacements where necessary.
- Compile manpower utilisation reports and other operational information for Management's review.
- Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes and optimise workforce deployment.
- Ensure all manpower schedules are prepared in accordance with company policies and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with clients on staffing arrangements and operational matters when required.
- Carry out any other operational planning or administrative duties assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or in related field.
- Possess strong planning, coordination, and organisational skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with employees, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Able to commit to 5.5days work week.
