Assistant Manager | Full Time | High Earning Potential |Music Bar Environment

Ipanema World Music Bar is looking for a dynamic and hands-on Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our vibrant venue.

Working closely with the Manager, you will help oversee the outlet's day-to-day operations, lead the team, and ensure exceptional customer service. As our outlet operates around a full-service bar, you should possess strong bartending knowledge and be confident supporting bar operations whenever required.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the outlet and ensure smooth service flow

• Assist the Manager in achieving revenue targets while managing labour costs and overall profitability

• Lead, motivate, and supervise the team to deliver fast, friendly, and high-quality service

• Oversee bar operations, ensuring drink quality, consistency, and adherence to company standards

• Monitor inventory, control stock levels, and coordinate ordering with relevant departments

• Work with the operations team to execute promotions and drive effective upselling initiatives

• Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally to ensure a positive customer experience

• Assist with staff scheduling, recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management

• Take charge of outlet operations in the Manager's absence

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures

Requirements

• Minimum "O" Level with good command of English

• At least 2 years of supervisory or assistant management experience in the F&B or hospitality industry

• Hands-on bartending experience and a good understanding of bar operations are required

• Experience in managing outlet operations and leading a team is preferred
