About this job

We are seeking a Technology Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of technology workstreams supporting Legal Day 1readiness and Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) implementation. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful mobilization, governance, and execution of technology transition activities, while maintaining operational continuity, risk management, and regulatory compliance throughout the transition lifecycle.

The successful candidate will work across technology, business, legal, operations, risk, and vendor teams to coordinate critical Day1 activities, oversee TSA-related deliverables, and support the transition to the target operating model.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Day 1 Readiness & Delivery Management

  • Develop and manage the integrated technology plan supporting Legal Day 1 readiness.
  • Ensure project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and readiness criteria are clearly defined and achieved.
  • Coordinate workstreams spanning applications, infrastructure, networks, end-user computing, identity and access management, data, service management, and operational readiness.
  • Lead cutover planning, readiness assessments, testing activities, rehearsal exercises, and go-live coordination.
  • Support post-implementation activities, including hypercare and operational stabilisation.

TSA Mobilisation, Governance & Delivery

  • Define and maintain the Technology TSA catalogue, including service scope, service descriptions, dependencies, assumptions, and ownership.
  • Contribute to the development of TSA documentation, including service schedules, operating procedures, service levels, governance processes, and escalation frameworks.
  • Establish and manage TSA governance forums, service reviews, KPI reporting, issue management, and change control processes.
  • Monitor TSA performance and ensure service commitments are delivered effectively throughout the transition period.
  • Support alignment between TSA arrangements and the target operating model while managing operational, security, and compliance considerations.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across Technology, Legal, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Cyber Security, Data Privacy, and business functions.
  • Coordinate activities across internal teams, external vendors, service providers, and third-party partners.
  • Facilitate discussions, resolve issues, and manage dependencies to support delivery objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver project updates, governance materials, and decision papers for leadership and steering committees.
  • Escalate risks, issues, and decisions appropriately, providing clear analysis and recommended actions.

Risk, Controls & Governance

  • Maintain project governance artifacts including risk, assumption, issue, dependency, and decision logs.
  • Ensure adherence to organisational policies, change management processes, access controls, audit requirements, and data protection standards.
  • Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies to support successful delivery.
  • Support regulatory, compliance, and operational control requirements throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Provide regular reporting on project status, milestones, risks, and controls.

Transition & TSA Exit Management

  • Develop and manage TSA exit plans, transition roadmaps, and target-state implementation activities.
  • Coordinate service separation, migration, decommissioning, and handover activities.
  • Track exit readiness criteria, including operational capabilities, process documentation, knowledge transfer, and support models.
  • Proactively manage dependencies and delivery activities to support timely TSA exit and transition objectives.
  • Ensure successful handover of services and responsibilities into business-as-usual operations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience managing complex technology projects involving multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering large-scale transformation, transition, migration, integration, separation, carve-out, merger, or Day 1 readiness initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of technology service management principles, including service catalogues, service levels, incident management, change management, and operational processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project plans, dependencies, critical paths, risks, issues, and governance activities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and third-party service providers.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management qualification
