Required Qualifications

• Subject mastery with consistent good results on the subject across school years
• Passionate about wanting students to improve
• Energetic and a positive attitude to inspire the students
• Able to engage and effectively communicate and engage with a group of students
• Driven to want to excel as a tutor
• Undergraduate, graduate preferably in the related field
• Familiar with the Singapore School syllabus
• Able to work remotely

Preferred Qualifications (but not compulsory)

• Past tutoring/teaching experience
• Graduate from a local university (NUS, NTU, SMU)
• MOE-trained teachers

Details of the Role

Educate.sg is an online platform that offers teaching entrepreneurship opportunity where tutors design the programs they intend to teach, and post on our platform for students to enrol. Tutors can grow their student-base through referrals, good reviews, and promotional campaigns conducted by platform operator. We charge a low commission fee based on course sales and tutors earn the bulk of the fee revenue. If there is no enrolment (especially for new tutors), there is no chargeable fee.

Our platform is a comprehensive digital platform designed for independent educators, with dashboards for customized for students and educators, coupled with a tested and proven scheme of software and hardware tools to make online learning conducive and engaging. We provide technical training for new tutors on how to use our platform and the necessary tools to design courses and to conduct online lessons.
