Market Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Turn data into commercial insights by analysing pricing, costing and market trends to support strategic sourcing and business decisions.
• Drive pricing accuracy and performance by managing pricing and costing setup, monitoring variances and recommending corrective actions when required.
• Deliver actionable KPI insights through regular reporting and trend analysis to support customer reviews and stakeholder discussions.
• Support strategic sourcing decisions by conducting market and global cost studies and providing relevant supply chain insights.
• Lead market forecasting activities by consolidating forecasts across markets and translating requirements into timely supplier plans.
• Partner across the business with Key Account, Sales & Marketing and other functional teams to support business planning, forecasting and pipeline development.
• Evaluate new opportunities through feasibility studies, pricing analysis and business cases for new initiatives and service enhancements.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding across functional teams to ensure a smooth and positive experience for new suppliers.
• Support operational excellence by managing EDI invoice-related activities and addressing costing or invoicing discrepancies.
• Coordinate time-sensitive initiatives such as contingencies and Limited Time Offers (LTOs), working across teams to ensure successful execution through to shipment arrival.

What We’re Looking For

• Around 3 years of experience in market analysis, business intelligence, strategic planning or a related role.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or international trade is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to simplify and communicate complex information clearly.
• Confidence in performing costing analysis and evaluating complex business scenarios.
• Strong ability to assimilate information and make informed decisions quickly.
• Independent, resourceful and driven to deliver results.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyse large volumes of data.
• Previous experience in supply chain analysis will be an advantage.
