Role purpose

We are looking for a confident, organised and customer-focused B2B Appointment Setter to contact potential business customers, introduce Syncbyte Networks, understand basic customer needs, and arrange confirmed appointments at the customer’s business location.

The role is focused on customer engagement and appointment setting. You are not required to conduct technical surveys, prepare quotations, install systems, or close sales. The Syncbyte sales and technical team will attend confirmed appointments and manage the solution discussion.

Key responsibilities

• Contact Singapore businesses through company-approved phone calls, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and other approved channels.

• Introduce Syncbyte Networks’ business IT, security, communications and automation solutions professionally.

• Engage business owners, directors, office managers, operations managers and other relevant decision-makers.

• Identify basic customer interest in managed IT, cybersecurity, networking, Wi-Fi, firewall, CCTV, door access, IP phone/PBX, cabling, office relocation, system upgrades or related services.

• Arrange and confirm appointments at customers’ offices, shops, warehouses, clinics or other business locations.

• Coordinate appointment date, time, location, decision-maker details and basic requirements with the customer and Syncbyte team.

• Send appointment confirmations and reminders before each scheduled visit.

• Follow up with prospects who show interest but have not yet confirmed an appointment.

• Maintain accurate customer details, communication records, lead status, requirements and follow-up actions in the company CRM.

• Brief the sales or technical team on customer requirements before the confirmed appointment.

• Follow approved scripts, data-handling procedures and outreach guidelines.

• Maintain professional, respectful and customer-focused communication at all times.

Requirements

• Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers.

• Good spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Confident in phone calls, customer engagement, outbound outreach and follow-up.

• Organised, proactive and able to manage customer schedules and multiple follow-ups.

• Able to use email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, spreadsheets and CRM systems.

• Experience in telemarketing, B2B lead generation, appointment setting, sales support or customer service is an advantage.

• Interest in IT, cybersecurity, office technology, CCTV, access control or business communications is an advantage.

• Training, sales scripts, service information and CRM guidance will be provided.

Performance incentives

This is a performance-driven role with commission and incentive opportunities based on qualified, confirmed and completed customer appointments. Commission eligibility and payment terms will be stated clearly in the employment or engagement agreement. Appointment-setting roles commonly involve outbound contact, basic lead qualification, scheduling, confirmation, and CRM documentation rather than closing the sale
