AI Technical Partner / Founding AI Architect

We are building a Private AI solution for Singapore SMEs.

We aim to provide SMEs with practical AI solutions that can work with their own company knowledge, documents, SOPs and workflows.

The founder brings strong experience in Singapore SME business development, industrial real estate, SME relationships and business strategy, with an existing network of SME owners and decision-makers.

We are looking for a strong technical person to become the technical brain behind the venture.

You will have the to shape:

• AI product architecture
• Private AI infrastructure
• AI agents
• RAG / company knowledge systems
• SME AI applications
• GPU/server deployment
• Security architecture
• Technical product strategy
• Development team structure
• Future AI SaaS products

The commercial side will be led by the founder, allowing the technical partner to focus heavily on building a strong and scalable technology foundation.

As the Technical Partner, you will initially be responsible for:

1. Technical Architecture

Design the overall architecture for our Private AI platform.

This includes evaluating:

• Open-source LLMs
• Commercial APIs
• Local inference
• RAG
• Vector databases
• AI agents
• GPU infrastructure
• Cloud infrastructure
• On-premise deployment
• Authentication
• User management
• Data isolation
• Backup
• Monitoring
• Security

The objective is not to build the most expensive system.

The objective is:

Build the most commercially viable Private AI system for Singapore SMEs.

2. Private AI Infrastructure

Help determine when we should use:

Cloud

versus

Dedicated server

versus

On-premise GPU server

versus

Hybrid architecture

You should be able to explain the trade-offs between performance, cost, security and scalability.

3. RAG / Knowledge Base

Build systems that allow SMEs to interact with their own information.

4. AI Agents & Automation

Develop practical AI agents for SMEs.

Potential applications include:

We are looking for someone who has a combination of:

Technical ability

Strong understanding of several of the following:

• LLMs
• RAG

• APIs
• Vector databases
• Docker
• Linux
• Cloud infrastructure
• GPU infrastructure
• Open-source AI models
• Database systems
• Authentication
• Cybersecurity
• AI application development

Experience with local/private LLM deployment is highly advantageous.

This is extremely important.

We are not looking for someone who only wants:

“Tell me what to build and I’ll build it.”

We want someone who can say:

“This approach will cost $X, this alternative will cost $Y, and I recommend Y because it is more suitable for SMEs.”

You should be comfortable challenging assumptions and helping shape the product.
