Job Summary

You will lead interior design projects by defining scopes, negotiating fees, and managing schedules to deliver innovative and functional spaces. Collaborate with clients and vendors to ensure technical feasibility and project success while providing clear progress updates.

Responsibilities

• Define and document the scope of work to align project objectives with client expectations
• Negotiate fees with clients and vendors to secure agreements that balance quality and budget
• Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery of design milestones
• Analyze and verify technical feasibility of design plans to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
• Create rough sketches and mood board to visualize design concepts and communicate ideas effectively
• Utilize CAD software to produce detailed and accurate design drawings for project execution
• Select materials that meet design intent and budget constraints to optimize project outcomes
• Provide clients with regular, clear updates on project progress and address their feedback promptly

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficient in CAD or other design software to develop precise design documentation
• Strong spatial and 3D awareness to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively
• Skilled in visualizing concepts and articulating design ideas to clients and team members
• Experience in design consultancy to advise clients and tailor solutions to their needs
• Competent in inspecting and surveying buildings to inform design decisions and site planning
• Forward-thinking approach to design concepts that anticipates future trends and client needs
• Willingness to travel to client sites to conduct surveys and engage directly with stakeholders
