Biology Teacher (Part Time)

Equistar International College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Biology Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Biology lessons and supporting students in achieving their academic and examination goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective Biology lessons in accordance with the relevant curriculum.
• Prepare lesson materials, worksheets, assignments, and revision resources.
• Explain biological concepts clearly and engage students through interactive teaching methods.
• Assess students through classwork, quizzes, tests, and other appropriate methods.
• Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback and additional support where required.
• Prepare students for examinations and develop their scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment.
• Work closely with the academic team on students' learning progress and other teaching matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Education, or a related discipline.
• Relevant teaching experience, preferably in Biology atO-Level, A-Level
• Strong knowledge of Biology and examination requirements.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Patient, responsible, and passionate about teaching.
• Candidates with experience teaching international students will have an advantage.

Working Arrangement

• Part-time position with teaching hours based on the college's timetable.
