Chinese Teacher (Part Time)

Equistar International College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Chinese Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Chinese lessons and supporting students in developing their language proficiency and academic performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Chinese lessons according to the relevant curriculum and students' learning needs.
• Prepare lesson materials, worksheets, assignments, and revision resources.
• Develop students' skills in Chinese reading, writing, speaking, listening, and comprehension.
• Assess students' learning through classwork, quizzes, tests, and assignments.
• Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback and additional support where required.
• Prepare students for Chinese language examinations where applicable.
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Work closely with the academic team regarding students' learning progress and other teaching matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Language, Chinese Studies, Education
• Relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international or secondary school environment.
• Strong command of Mandarin Chinese, both written and spoken.
• Good understanding of Chinese language curriculum and examination requirements.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Patient, responsible, and passionate about teaching.
• Able to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Working Arrangement

• Part-time position with teaching hours based on the college's timetable.
