Sales Interior Designer

Job Description

As a Sales Interior Designer, you will work closely with homeowners to understand their lifestyle needs and propose practical, functional, and aesthetically pleasing renovation solutions. You will manage projects from the initial consultation through to project completion while ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet prospective clients to understand their renovation requirements and lifestyle needs.

• Conduct site visits and measurements.

• Prepare space planning proposals, design concepts, mood boards and quotations.

• Present design ideas and renovation proposals to clients.

• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors throughout the renovation process.

• Manage project timelines, site progress and quality control.

• Handle client enquiries and provide regular project updates.

• Resolve site issues promptly and professionally.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage referrals.

• Stay updated with interior design trends, materials and renovation techniques.

Requirements

• Passionate about interior design and residential renovations.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated, responsible and results-oriented.

• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

• Strong problem-solving and space planning skills.

• Willing to learn and continuously improve.

• Basic knowledge of SketchUp, or similar design software is an advantage.

• Relevant experience in interior design or renovation sales is preferred, but candidates with strong sales aptitude and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
