The Role
The Programme/ Healthcare Assistant plays a crucial role in assisting clients with daily living activities and basic patient care. Their work includes providing clinical, personal, therapy and psychosocial care, enhancing the well-being of the clients through individualized care plans.
Responsibilities
Provide interactive activities and group exercises to clients
Provide blood pressure and blood sugar measurement and reading under supervision of a nurse
Provide personal care according to the individual needs (ie grooming, dressing, showers, bathing, toileting, transferring, meal preparation, feeding, laundry)
Provide transport escort for clients on company transport
Maintain a safe and clean environment
Assist multi-disciplinary team with regards to the client’s care plan
Other duties as assigned by HOP
Requirements
Min GCE N level
WSQ Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing care or Therapy)
Preferably with experience in providing care for seniors in community care setting e.g. senior day care
Good working attitude
This role is on a 5-day work week and will be based in Tiong Bahru.
