Director, Event & Promotion

This role focuses on Event within Event & Promotion:-

• Develop and lead the execution of casino and loyalty strategies to drive member acquisition, retention, market share growth, and revenue enhancement.
• Strategize, plan, and manage RWS Casino Membership program, partnerships, incentives, promotions, and events to align with overall business objectives and enhance customer loyalty.
• Oversee the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, including reinvestment strategies and campaign automation, to improve targeting, engagement, and customer lifecycle management.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Finance, IT, Legal, Guest Experience, VIP Support, and other key stakeholders to design and execute effective marketing campaigns and projects.
• Lead the development and execution of direct-to-consumer marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in communications to RWS Casino Membership members.
• Design and maintain a 24-month rolling marketing calendar aligned with business goals and market opportunities.
• Conduct detailed performance analysis of campaigns and programs to provide actionable insights and inform future strategies and investment decisions.
• Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to assess the relevance and competitiveness of marketing programs and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Manage the planning, execution, and maintenance of campaign systems and automation tools, ensuring system accuracy and data integrity.
• Ensure timely communication and coordination with departments such as Call Centre, Guest Experience, and Business Development regarding campaign execution and member communications.
• Partner with Business Planning and IT to support the development and enhancement of customer experience management (CXM) platforms and data access tools for improved marketing precision.
• Propose and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, member experience, and campaign Return on Investment (ROI).
• Review, update, and ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and investigations when operational discrepancies arise; prepare detailed reports and propose corrective measures.
• Provide leadership and empowerment to the team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
• Oversee project management to ensure timely and successful delivery of key initiatives, within scope and budget.
• Handle partnership contracts and liaise with Legal and Finance for approval and execution of collaborative agreements.
• Lead the development and execution of data-driven marketing strategies for the Casino Marketing department through robust planning and analytics
• Oversee forecasting, campaign performance analysis, segmentation, and Return on Investment (ROI) evaluation to guide marketing investment decisions and enhance revenue outcomes
• Design and manage comprehensivedashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs, customer behavior, and marketingeffectiveness across channels and programs
• Direct deep-dive analysis of customer segments, gaming behavior, and promotional responsiveness to identify growth opportunities and optimize targeting strategies
• Support management in the planning, integration, and execution of resort-wide revenue plans and casino strategic initiatives
• Lead business forecasting, budgeting, and performance management for Casino Marketing’s events, campaigns and promotions.
• Provide strategic oversight on market research, data analysis, and competitor intelligence to inform decision-making and maintain market competitiveness
• Guide the implementation of resort-wide experience products, high-value events and promotions, and strategic partnerships for destination marketing and brand development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the planning and execution of marketing plan, programs, campaigns and experiences tailored to different customer segments
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, operational standards, and all regulatory requirements
• Foster a high-performance analytics team, providing mentorship, guidance, and skill development to elevate analytical capabilities across the department.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or Marketing with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Minimum 11 years' experience in casino industry
• Proven track record in strategic planning, managing and execution of successful marketing campaigns and systems
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and leverage insights to drive marketing strategies
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong project management skills to effectively coordinate multiple campaigns at a time
