Senior Resident Engineer - LTA North South Corridor

Job Summary

Lead and supervise civil and structural engineering works for the bus depot project, ensuring compliance with statutory codes and quality standards while coordinating with Qualified Persons and Resident Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor site works to ensure adherence to project specifications and statutory requirements under direction from QP(S)
• Supervise construction activities on the bus depot project to maintain quality control and enforce safety standards
• Inspect site works regularly and prepare detailed progress reports documenting site conditions and project status
• Apply knowledge of statutory codes and site supervision requirements to enforce construction administration procedures effectively
• Coordinate with project teams to identify and resolve site issues, ensuring timely completion of works
• Organize and lead site teams, fostering effective interpersonal communication to achieve project goals

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience as a civil and structural engineer, including at least four (4) years supervising works on projects similar in size and complexity, particularly road and tunnel works
• Possess a civil and structural engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore
