Sales Engineer (Fuel Systems & Generator Services)

Salary: S$3,500 – S$4,000 basic + Commission + Variable Bonus
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Job Summary

The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving business growth by developing new client relationships and promoting fuel system and generator service solutions for data centres. The role involves managing the sales cycle, coordinating project execution, and working closely with clients to deliver technical solutions that meet their operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and generate sales for fuel systems and generator services.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding their technical and operational requirements.
• Manage and monitor project progress, providing regular updates to management.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Develop a thorough understanding of industry trends, products, equipment, and services.
• Provide technical support and recommend suitable engineering solutions to clients.
• Coordinate project delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
• 2 years of sales experience in Data Centre Fuel Systems and Generator Services.
• Strong technical understanding of fuel systems, generators, and related engineering services.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• Hunter mindset with a strong focus on business development while maintaining existing client relationships.
• Sales role comprising approximately 80% business development (hunter) and 20% account management (farmer).
