Senior M&E Engineer_Construction new Building_5day_$7K+Bonus_A1 Main Contractor

• Up to Basic $7,000 + Bonus + Benefits

• Permanent position/ 5 workdays/ East area.

• Prior experience working for a main contractor is highly advantageous.

• Proven track record in building design and construction of iconic Commercial Building projects is preferred.

Our client is a reputable MNC and leading A1 main contractor, diverse in civil and Building projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the M&E Manager in coordinating mechanical and electrical works on site.

• Monitor site progress and ensure M&E installation works are completed according to approved drawings, technical submissions and project schedules.

• Review materials, equipment and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.

• Coordinate M&E drawings, including CSD and individual services drawings.

• Carry out and manage QA/QC inspections for M&E works.

• Coordinate with site supervision teams, consultants and subcontractors to clear inspections and maintain construction progress.

• Maintain updated site inspection, testing and commissioning records.

• Monitor equipment and material procurement, fabrication and delivery schedules to support timely project completion.

• Review and verify Variation Order (VO) costs and provide recommendations on pricing.

• Assess work completed and materials supplied for subcontractor and vendor progress payments.

• Ensure subcontractors and vendors provide proper supporting documents for progress claims.

• Coordinate closely with subcontractors during daily site meetings and resolve M&E coordination issues.

• Ensure M&E site activities comply with project safety requirements and approved safe work procedures.

• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities where required.
  

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or its equivalent

• Experience in construction Building or Data Center or Hospital projects preferred.
