Assistant Finance Manager

Join a fast-growing private fund managing multi-asset investments across public and private markets.

Our Client is looking for a hands-on Assistant Finance Manager to take ownership of fund accounting, investment reporting and financial operations, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders to drive accuracy, efficiency and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead fund accounting, NAV preparation and cash/position reconciliations.

• Own monthly portfolio performance and investment reporting.

• Monitor investment performance, portfolio returns, risk metrics and benchmarks.

• Drive process improvements, data integrity and reporting enhancements.

• Prepare investor packs and materials for Investment Committee & Board meetings.

• Manage statutory and regulatory reporting, including GST, KYC/AML and annual filings.

• Support portfolio monitoring and other ad-hoc finance and investment operations initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics.

• 5–7 years' relevant experience in fund accounting, investment reporting or investment operations.

• Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets and multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income and alternatives.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Bloomberg or portfolio management systems experience is advantageous.

• Self-motivated, hands-on and able to work independently in a fast-paced investment environment.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
