Safety Officer (Semiconductor)

Salary: $2,500 - $4,000 (Based on Experience)

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

• Monthly Rest Days: 8

Responsibilities:

• Manage WSH safety compliance across semiconductor and project sites

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards

• Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP)

• Manage Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements and ensure proper implementation

• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, training, and emergency drills

• Monitor site activities and enforce workplace safety requirements

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and follow up on corrective actions

• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and incident documentation

• Coordinate safety matters with clients, contractors, project teams, and relevant authorities

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field

• Must be a MOM Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant safety experience in Construction, Engineering, Semiconductor, or Manufacturing

• Familiar with MOM WSH regulations, RA, SWP, PTW, and incident investigation

• Strong safety awareness, communication, and coordination skills

• Able to work independently and manage safety requirements across multiple project sites

• Confined Space, Work at Height, First Aid, or Fire Safety certifications are an advantage

• Candidates able to start work immediately or on short notice will have an advantage
