Accountant

About the role

VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team on a full time basis. Based in the Lavender area of the Central Region, this role will be responsible for handling the full scope of accounting duties to support our growing business.

Job Scope

• Responsible for timely month-end consolidation and preparation of reports and analyses;

• Assist in monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting

• Assist in year-end audit and budgeting process

• Attend to queries from banks and auditors

• Assist in preparation of banking documents and directors' resolution.

• Assist in developing policies and procedures to improve financial and operational processes,

• Ensure the smooth and effective management of the accounting activities which include reviewing and streamlining the current processes to achieve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Assist in tax matters.

• Liaise with banker, creditors, suppliers, company secretary, and any other third party, as

• Any ad-hoc functions as required.

Job requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA and equivalent

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience

• Experience in SAP accounting software is an added advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint

• Highly independent with minimal supervision

• Able to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
