Quantity Surveyor Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced QS Manager(Tender) to join our client construction team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tender and pre-contract quantity surveying activities, including cost estimation, value engineering, procurement and commercial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and prepare cost estimates for tender and bidding projects.
• Lead value engineering and develop competitive tender pricing.
• Review subcontractor/supplier quotations and support procurement negotiations.
• Review contracts and identify commercial and contractual risks.
• Manage claims, variations, EOT and prolongation costs.
• Provide commercial and contractual support to project teams.
• Monitor project budgets, claims and subcontractor payments.
• Report key commercial and contractual matters to management.

Key Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years’ relevant QS experience in the construction industry.
• Strong experience in tendering and pre/post-contract management.
• Experience in foundation and RC structural works for medium to large-scale projects.
• Good knowledge of cost estimation, procurement and contract administration.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
