Advanced Process Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze process and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support process control troubleshooting, control loop tuning and optimization activities.
• Assist in Advanced Process Control (APC) project execution, configuration, testing and commissioning.
• Support process modelling, controller tuning and performance monitoring.
• Prepare engineering documents, test procedures and technical reports.
• Participate in customer meetings, FAT, SAT and site commissioning activities.
• Support digital solutions such as process simulation, predictive analytics, Industrial AI and real-time optimization.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Basic knowledge of process control, instrumentation, automation or process optimization.
• Exposure to process industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of process simulation, data analytics, Python, MATLAB or DCS would be advantageous.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop capabilities in process control, optimization and digital solutions.
• Willing and able to travel to customers or project sites when required.
