Purpose of Role
Support the Executive in charge of the Golf Academy in the administration and delivery of academy programmes, outreach initiatives, membership activities, and events. The role will help ensure smooth day-to-day operations while supporting efforts to attract new golfers and grow participation in My Golf Kaki (MGK).
Key Responsibilities
Golf Academy Operations
Support the planning, administration, and delivery of Golf Academy programmes.
Manage enquiries, registrations, attendance, schedules, and programme documentation.
Coordinate with coaches, testers, participants, and service providers to ensure smooth programme delivery.
Arrange facility bookings, equipment requirements, and programme logistics.
Collect and consolidate feedback and maintain academy records and databases.
Golf Outreach & Recruitment
Identify and coordinate outreach opportunities to introduce golf to new participants and potential MGK members.
Support recruitment initiatives such as learn-to-play programmes, roadshows, school outreach, corporate engagement activities, and community events.
Liaise with schools, corporates, unions, and community partners to facilitate participation opportunities.
Maintain and track outreach leads, participation numbers, and conversion outcomes.
Events & Member Engagement
Support the planning and execution of academy social games, competitions, clinics, recruitment drives, and member engagement activities.
Coordinate event logistics, participant communications, registration, and post-event administration.
Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to promote My Golf Kaki membership, Golf Academy programmes, events, and outreach initiatives.
Reporting & Administration
Prepare reports on academy participation, membership activities, event attendance, feedback, and programme performance.
Maintain accurate records and assist with budget tracking, invoices, and administrative documentation.
Customer Service & General Support
Respond professionally to enquiries from members, participants, and the public.
Provide operational and administrative support to the Executive overseeing the Golf Academy.
Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by the Head of Department and/or Reporting Officer.
Requirements
Diploma, preferably in events, sports management or hospitality
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity
Experience / Interest in Golf and sports development will be an added advantage
Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and administrative skills
Experience in customer service and membership sales
Meticulous and detail-oriented with strong data analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel
Able to work in a fast-paced environment independently and as a team
Able to work on weekend and public holidays when required
