Mailroom Assistant (3-month Temporary)

Location: Eunos
Contract: 3 months
Working Days: Monday to Friday, 42 hours per week

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM–6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Process registered articles, trackable packets, parcels and other hand-delivered mail items.
• Scan mail items, prepare delivery advice and sort items for distribution.
• Handle mail handover, takeover and end-of-day balancing.
• Process returned mail, postage-due mail and other undelivered items.
• Activate and administer mail redirection and mail retention services.
• Verify information in internal systems and ensure accurate data transfers.
• Ensure undelivered items are correctly returned by postmen.
• Perform general data entry and maintain accurate operational records.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational statistics.
• Monitor and manage stock items.
• Respond to enquiries relating to mail delivery issues.
• Assist with sorting and moving packages weighing approximately 10–15 kg.

Requirements

• Comfortable performing administrative and operational duties.
• Able to carry and handle packages weighing up to 15 kg.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Careful and accurate when handling mail and system records.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to commit to the full three-month contract.
• Relevant mailroom, warehouse, logistics or administrative experience is advantageous.
