Business Development Executive/ Manager (Construction Sector Focused, Financing Solutions)

Role Summary:

We are supporting our Client (HQ in Hong Kong) to hire a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive/Manager to be based in Singapore (Work location: downtown). Responsible for seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors for both local and regional markets

Responsibilities

• Support marketing and partnership activities to strengthen brand visibility within the local construction community.
• Generate sales opportunities from construction stakeholders
• Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, site visits, networking events, and exhibitions.
• Pitch the company's products/services to potential clients.
• Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services offerings
• Provide proper after-sales service to clients.

Requirements and Skills

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Construction, or a relevant field
• Proactive, outgoing and active, with the ability to deliver engaging presentations, with a proven track record in achieving sales quotas
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Hands-on experience on with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls.
• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce).
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, for preparing presentations, analyzing data, and creating reports.
• Prior work experience in B2B sales/ business development
• Knowledge and experience in the construction, contracting, or infrastructure industry and/or construction financing will be prioritized.
