Shine Arts Creative Studio is looking for a creative, enthusiastic and responsible Full-Time Art Teacher to join our team.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, has strong art fundamentals, and can create a fun, encouraging and well-managed classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Classroom Management

• Conduct engaging art classes for children across different age groups.

• Teach drawing, painting, mixed media, craft, clay and other creative projects.

• Guide students according to their age, ability and individual creative style.

• Manage classes independently while maintaining a positive and safe environment.

• Encourage creativity rather than simply having children copy the teacher's work.

• Adapt activities for students with different abilities and learning speeds.

• Provide positive and constructive guidance to students.

Lesson Planning & Curriculum

• Prepare lesson plans, project samples and materials before classes.

• Develop creative and age-appropriate art projects.

• Assist in creating new programmes and curriculum for the studio.

• Develop projects for regular classes, holiday programmes and workshops.

• Ensure projects can be completed successfully within the allocated class duration.

• Contribute new ideas, techniques and creative concepts to the studio.

Studio Responsibilities

• Prepare classrooms and materials before lessons.

• Organise and clean teaching areas after classes.

• Maintain art materials and inform management when supplies need replenishment.

• Help maintain artwork displays and the overall presentation of the studio.

• Assist with workshops, holiday camps, art parties and special studio events when required.

Parent & Student Communication

• Build positive relationships with students.

• Communicate professionally and confidently with parents.

• Provide brief updates about students' progress when appropriate.

• Handle younger children patiently and confidently.

• Manage challenging classroom situations calmly and appropriately.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts, Art & Design, Art Education or a related field preferred.

• Strong drawing and painting fundamentals.

• Comfortable working with different art materials and techniques.

• Previous experience teaching or working with children is strongly preferred.

• Good spoken English and communication skills.

• Patient, responsible, organised and energetic.

• Able to manage a classroom independently.

• Comfortable working on weekends and during school holidays.

• Reliable and looking for a full-time position.

Position Details

Position: Full-Time Art Teacher

Location: Shine Arts Creative Studio, Singapore

Working Schedule: 5 days per week, including weekends as required

Salary: S$2,500–S$3,200 per month, depending on experience and capabilities

Start Date: September 2026 / As soon as possible

Candidates requiring Singapore work-pass sponsorship may apply, subject to eligibility and company quota.
