Precision Machinist (Conventional, CNC & Grinding)

Job Summary

• Set up, program, and operate advanced machine tools to produce high-quality, high-precision components.
• Work closely with the engineering team to meet strict quality and production schedules.
• Ensure all manufactured parts strictly adhere to exact technical specifications and engineering blueprints.

Key Responsibilities

- Can be able to Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and engineering blueprints to determine project dimensions and tolerances.

- Able to Install, align, work on and secure cutting tools, fixtures, workpieces, and materials on CNC or manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders).

- Able to Set up and edit machine programs (G-code/M-code) to control tool paths, feed rates, and cutting speeds.

- Able to use high-precision measuring instruments—such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMMs—to verify part dimensions against tolerances.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience on manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and a solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Core Skills: mechanical troubleshooting abilities, and high attention to detail.
