Regional Sales Manager - Thermoplastics

Job Descriptions:

• In charge of developing sales and marketing strategy including marketing initiatives, business development opportunities, new market entry plan and analysis, budget and timeline
• Provide leadership, direction and strategies to meet sales and profit targets
• Pro-actively innovate and respond to market needs
• To manage and build relationships with customers and distributors
• Act as the customers’ main point of contact, by liaising closely with internal departments to ensure that their queries, problems, or issues are dealt with appropriately, and provide excellent services to customers
• To enable negotiations regarding price variations, customer specification and promotional mechanisms.
• Evaluate local distribution needs and distribution networks to maximize sales growth and improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare weekly/monthly updates reports on pipelines, target, budgeting achievement and review of new opportunities and business plan.
• Ensure review on debtors’ ageing are under control.
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by superior

Job Requirements:

• Candidate to possess at least a diploma, bachelor’s degree, or Professional Degree preferably in Polymer, Engineering (Chemical) or Engineering (Material Science) or equivalent.
• Candidate with at least 3 years of industrial or engineering plastics or composites sales experience will have an added advantage.
• More experience candidate will be considered for Manager position.
• Excellent analytical skills, able to work independently and understand clients’ needs and present solutions.
• High appetite to learn, strong interpersonal and communications skills, and ability to work across functions and a team player with high drive to learn in technical commercial activities.
• Able to work well in a fast-paced with high level of self- motivation and determination in dynamic environment.
• Independent and good motivation for Sales.
• Fluent in written/spoken English and Mandarin (to handle queries, concerns and feedback from Mandarin speaking clients).
• Have the flexibility to travel for planned and occasional impromptu business trips
