NPI Engineer (New Product Introduction)

Company: Our client, an established manufacturing group serving customers in the electronics and technology industries

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own the transition of new products from design/prototype stage into stable volume production
• Coordinate cross-functionally with design, process, test, and quality engineering teams to plan and execute NPI builds
• Identify and resolve manufacturability issues early through DFM/DFA reviews
• Develop and validate production process flows, work instructions, and test procedures for new programs
• Manage NPI timelines, risk assessments, and readiness reviews ahead of production ramp-up
• Support pilot runs and first article inspections, and drive closure of any issues identified

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of NPI or new product engineering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
• Strong cross-functional coordination skills, comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and timelines
• Working knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and process qualification
• Experience with project management tools and structured NPI processes (APQP or similar) is a plus
