Community Events Executive (Outreach Engagement)
About this job
This role reports to the Community Engagement Manager / Line Supervisor to supports AKG's Community Outreach and Partnership programs. You will be actively involved in events to promote and increase awareness of AKG's employability services, encouraging adoption among Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
We are seeking full-time event staff with outgoing and confident personalities. You will be deployed to on-site events to engage with the public, share information about AKG's employability services, and assist with the onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities:
Outreach, Partnerships & Events Operations
Public Engagement: Actively participate in physical events to raise awareness of AKG's services. Hand out flyers, facilitate engagement activities with the public, and explain the benefits of our employability services
Service Promotion: Demonstrate the unique selling points of AKG's employability services and how they can benefit prospective clients.
Career Advisory: To provide basic career advisory sessions to guide individuals towards appropriate assistance and training
Driving Attachments and Sign-Ups: To generate active enquiry leads, sign-ups and attachments as per given KPIs.
Event Support: Assist with event setup through to teardown. Effectively manage engagement activities, including ushering, actively soliciting public participation in organized activities, and performing crowd control duties
Business Development/Partner Relations: Support the Community Engagement Manager in deepening partner relationships and assist in key activities and events throughout the year
Data Collection and Management: Collection of onboarding documents and ensure timely and accurate data entry into Event Tracking / CRS systems
Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other tasks as delegated by Line Supervisor
Requirements:
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge and Ability
5-days work week, with inclusive on of the weekends, possibly to start work at retail/ events/ roadshow working hours.
Passionate about helping individuals improve their employability and find jobs.
Strong initiative, self-motivation, and focus on helping young adults achieve career success.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Resilient and adaptable, capable of working independently and collaboratively. Experience in managing partnerships and building relationships would be an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office tools.
Administration & Quality
Adhere to AKG, Project and local Government guidelines, policies and procedures at all times
Adhere to Event Engagement objectives and meet quality standards
Ensure documentation on all systems are updated in a timely and accurate manner
Provide accurate and timely reporting on all relevant activities
Maintain strict confidentiality of client information in accordance to PDPA requirements
