Job Summary
Lead and oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Manage on-site teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders while driving compliance, safety, and seamless handover processes. This role requires a proactive leader who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project outcomes
Lead daily on-site operations and proactively anticipate risks or delays, implementing mitigation strategies to maintain schedules
Prepare and present detailed site reports, inspection records, and progress updates to clients, management, and stakeholders
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, landlords, and building management to secure access and approvals
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and on-site teams, conducting regular safety inspections to enforce regulatory compliance
Oversee quality assurance checks on workmanship and materials to uphold design and construction standards
Drive procurement, sourcing, and quotation processes to support project needs and cost efficiency
Lead project handover, ensuring all deliverables, documentation, and close-out requirements are completed to client satisfaction
Required Competencies & Certifications
Strong knowledge of site safety practices and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation
Willingness to work on-site and travel as required for project coordination
Preferred Qualifications & Competencies
Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
2 to 5 years of experience in project management, interior fit-out, or construction (leadership experience preferred)
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organisational skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage confidently with clients, contractors, and senior management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex project challenges
Ability to work independently with a proactive, deadline-driven approach
Strong leadership presence with a hands-on attitude and full accountability for project outcomes
